I'm so glad you're here! Even though I’ve lived in Zurich for a long time, my heart and roots are Estonian. In 2008, I traveled through Southeast Asia for six months, and that journey changed my life in profound ways. After that, I transitioned from the finance world to photography and moved from Tallinn to Zurich—primarily to be with the wonderful person I met during that trip. It was an unusual step, as a friend pointed out, to move to the financial capital and become a photographer. But who says everything has to be logical? I believe I simply wanted to experience the flow of life and express what I see, feel, and encounter through my images.
Photography is a means of expression for me, a way to connect and engage creatively. It opens up diverse insights into different areas of life, and I’m fascinated by the opportunity to dive into these various worlds and capture the stories of people. I’m grateful for all the portraits and narratives that are entrusted to me, and I hope my journey as a photographer will continue to be filled with images that touch and delight, as well as encounters that truly move us.
